Leadership Team
Benjamin Cohen, CFA
Managing Partner
Ben brings 20+ years of partner-level experience on both the buy-side and sell-side as the Managing Partner of 20/20 Capital Advisory Group and has managed over $1B+ in total deal transaction value. Ben has two decades of knowledge and experience throughout his diverse career within investment banking, consulting, equity research and private equity. Ben prides himself on his ability to understand and deeply connect with all types of business owners and entrepreneurs, and has a special appreciation for the lower middle markets.
Before founding 20/20 Capital Advisory Group, Ben worked in Investment Banking at Cross Keys Capital, McKenzie & Associates, and Dorset Peak (CAC Speciality); Valuation Consulting at Deloitte; and Equity Research at Raymond James. Ben started his career as an analyst at Florida Capital Partners (FCP), a middle-market private equity firm.
Ben is a graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, is a CFA Charterholder, and licensed with a Series 7, 63, and 79, and previously held a Series 86 and 87. Ben firmly believes that successful deals create win-win scenarios, fostering mutual growth and long-term partnerships. Ben has a deep passion for investments and a comprehensive appreciation for the capital markets.
Matt Randall
Managing Director
For the past 18 years, Matt has been involved in multiple entrepreneurial ventures with a stint in the U.S. Army as an Infantry officer.
With a background in sales, operational management, M&A and real estate, Matt enjoys identifying and working through problems for business owners. Previously, as a new college graduate, Matt opened a branch office for a private investigation firm. After his exit from the Army, Matt started multiple businesses in the advertising, event management and manufacturing spaces.
Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and five children along with chasing his two dogs and thirty chickens. Matt sees everyday as a new opportunity to connect with business owners and aid them in their succession planning.
Vishal Shetty
Vice President
Vishal Shetty has been into Investment Banking since 2023. During that time, he worked on multiple software transactions across Enterprise Software, AI/Automation, Customer Engagement Solutions, Workforce Productivity Tech, and Business Intelligence & Analytics.
He previously worked with McKenzie & Associates, an investment banking and CFO consultancy firm, where he worked on multiple M&A deals across Consumer, Gaming, Ed Tech, Hospitality, and Media sectors. Vishal is a Chartered Accountant (CA) from India and a CFA L3 Candidate.
Robert Shealy
M&A Associate
Robert works on deals across all industries and deal sizes and helps on both origination and execution. Robert prides himself on his business development abilities and strong leadership experience from his prior jobs. Additionally, and similar to the rest of the 20/20 team, Robert holds his values and moral code above everything else.
Before joining 20/20 Capital Advisory Group, Robert began his journey at 17 for a large marketing firm and worked his way to becoming a district manager with a team of 50 reps and leading them to win 3 national sales competitions. Robert has spent his last 4 years working in the M&A field as a deal closer.
Robert graduated from the University of Alabama with an undergraduate degree in business management with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. When Robert is not working, he enjoys playing pickleball and serving at his church by leading men’s groups.
Sam Pinkowitz
M&A Analyst
Sam helps the deal team with execution and supports the team across all industries & verticals. Sam also leads the closing and escrow department.
Previously, Sam worked as a mortgage loan processor and loan operations analyst. He worked in both the front and back offices of deal making and has the right experience to help drive execution in the lower middle markets.
Sam is from Boston, Massachusetts where he grew up and enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with family and friends. He is also a proud member of the 20/20 Capital Nerd Finance Club.
Alex Alejandre
IT & Deal Associate
Alex focuses on finding and applying operational efficiencies and how synergies impact valuation. With a background in industrial engineering, Alex has programmed for 20 years, architecting and managing software projects for the financial, industrial, energy, mining and retail sectors.
Alex grew up in LA, has worked in a dozen countries and speaks 6 languages. He programs in Lisp, APL and Lean 4 where possible.

Jeff Tarplin, India Brook Partners
Founder/Managing Director of India Brook Partners, a boutique M&A advisory firm since 2002. Jeff has a 30 year career in M&A transactions ; Prior – Principal, Quadrant Management, NY-based private equity group managing funds for Richemont, the holding company for Cartier, Mont Blanc, Dunhill and Piaget; prior-$1Billion in M&A and financing transactions through 10 years Wall Street corporate finance law practice with Carter Ledyard & Millburn. Education: Haverford College; National Law Center/ George Washington University (JD).
Alex Harper, Pfizer
Alex is a Senior Manager, Investor Relations at Pfizer, where he leads strategic investment communications development as the subject-matter expert on financial markets. Prior to his current role, Alex was a Principal at a Tel Aviv-based venture firm, iAngels, served in the Israeli Ministry of Economy within the trade department, and has built his career in financial communications and capital raising while serving at Fidelity, Merrill Lynch, and Fred Alger. He regularly consults firms on investor relations strategy, financial communications, and capital raising. Alex holds a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Florida and an MA in International Diplomacy from Reichman University in Israel.
Luke Medhus, Montview Partners
Luke Medhus is the Managing Partner of Montview Partners, an investment manager with a long-term, value-oriented approach and a broad and flexible mandate. Prior to founding Montview, Luke was an investment professional at Hillspire, a Silicon Valley family office, and at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute endowment fund. Earlier, he was an equity research analyst at Bank of America. Luke holds B.S. and B.A. degrees from Duke University.
